Introduction
Responsible for this web site are Anne and Jon Birger Fjalestad, owners of Fjalestad vestre in Nissedal, Norway. We took over the farm in 1983. Anne is a pre school teacher and Jon works as an international consultant through Norway Registers Development AS, where 50 % of the shares are owned by JB Fjalestad AS, a family company. Our son Espen works as an IT consultant in Oslo. This web site intends to reach people who consider to do something with their crowded way of life and move to a place with more space and other opportunities than you can find in urban environments. For them, settling in Fjalestad is probably an alternative.
